If you want a case example of how to make things *not* work in your story, pick up this book. The author kept telling the reader things like how "remarkable' a particular character was without ever showing it, the plot and PoV was a mess, and awkward phrasing killed the funniest lines. It was also chock-full of weird typos. I did find it enjoyable enough to read all the way through, if only with all fascination of observing a train wreck in progress.

This book is an adventure, waiting for you to open up and read. If you think Peter Pan, is good read this book and see what you most enjoyed better. The Charleston Vampire is a book about the first vampires that came to america. I will admit that this book can be glory sometimes. If you love adventure books then this one is for you. Please read this book and enjoy it.
