This book should be part of an 11 book series, packaged together so that the whole story of the "John Carter of Mars" series can be told. This book is well written and very imaginative. It is written with a slant toward English that was spoken in the early 1900's. So it might be a little difficult to comprehend, but as the reader continues, they will get use to it.
