With this release, Bun-Ching Lam presents three narrative works with musical accompaniment. The first is the title piece, a story based on The Creation of the Gods, a mystical novel from the Ming Dynasty. Lam conducts a small ensemble that includes tenor Chen Shi-Zheng, while Ron Sopyla narrates the story of No Cha, the Child God. The second is a 1997 revision of Lam's 1982 composition, "Autumn Sound."
