Overview

Two nuclear wars. Three asteroids. Demonic madness that kills one third of the worlds population. Into this, a savior will rise, cloned from Christ. Its not fiction. Its prophecy.

The Messiah of the New Age. His coming is prophesied by more than a dozen major religions. Cloned from live cells of Jesus Christ found on the Shroud of Turin, Christopher Goodman was born into the most turbulent time in human history. Mentored by former UN Assistant Secretary-General Robert Milner, Christopher rises in position and power, and displays remarkable wisdom and compassion. But through disjointed bits of dreams that sometimes haunt him, Christopher reveals significant troubling errors in the biblical record of Jesus life.

Soon the reason for Robert Milners interest in Christopher becomes clear: the world is about to undergo a time of destruction and chaos darker than any in history, with impending nuclear war merely a faint precursor. Milner explains that without Christopher, humanity will not long survive. Under Christophers leadership, however, mankind stands on the threshold of a final great evolutionary leap that will bestow on the human race god-like powers. This is the reason, Milner says, that Christopher was born.

In Israel, an unexpected threat to Christophers ascension is growing: two men, possessed of incredible supernatural powers, one claiming to be the 2000-year-old Apostle John, the other an apostate Hasidic rabbi named Saul Cohen. Together, the men lead an outlawed cult of 144,000 followers, each branded with the names Yahweh and Yeshua on their foreheads.

As I am reading the first book, there are parts thats keeping my interest mixed among a lot of long drawn out boring parts that I sooo wanted to skip past. There is way too much details that are boring about the changing of the security council. Get to the story already. I purchased all three books and quite frankly, Im bored, and not looking forward to reading the 2nd or third book. The interesting parts are far and few between!

Best fictional series I have ever read

Not bad, but I enjoyed the Left Behind series better. This one was good enough to finish the trilogy, but the theology was a little shaky. LaHaye followed the prophecy more closely and I felt more compelled to read that series.

I picked this up while not sure what to read at the library, and WOW! From page 1 to the end of the trilogy took me 4 days. The science storyline and timelines are so beliveable that you just can't stop reading.

This is the first book in the "Christ Clone Trilogy" Which immediately tells you it will be unlike any book you may have read before. Science has moved forward to the point that a man has created a clone of Jesus Christ! The steps are well thought out, the science plausible. Christopher Goodman could be the re-creation of Jesus? Covering many parts of the globe, many sides of politics around the world. This book will make you think hard about what you believe and what could be possible. For Sci-fi buffs, conspiracy theorists, the religiously devout, all will find something to think about. Everything centers around the Mideast. As this first book draws to a close, Christopher is beginning to show his supernatural powers. I find it fitting that I finished this book on Easter Sunday.

I loved this book. I am not one to read. Pretty lazy reader. But I wanted to show my son that if you like something go read about it. This book captivated me from start to finish. I hated to stop to sleep. This was my first book that I actually enjoyed reading. I recommend this to all.
