I make it a habit to buy each of our four boys a couple of Christmas decorations, an ornament, a Christmas CD, and a Christmas themed book on clearance in January as gifts for them the following Christmas. It is an affordable way to help them stockpile their own collection of Christmas treasures so they will have a good start once they are ready to move out. I purchased this book to give to our oldest son, a high school senior, this past Christmas. He is an engineering, musical type, who is one of the guys, and he loves this book! It is at once practical and extravagant, packed with useful tips, interestesting tidbits, and fun traditional standbys that will make it a favorite Christmas item for years to come. The cover and gold-edged pages are very attractive, so it would be a lovely addition to any coffee table, as well. This would be a wonderful gift for anyone, including oneself!

I browsed through this book at the store, and decided to buy it online as a gift today. It's a beautiful book, full of miscellaneous fun. This is the sort of book you can bring out and enjoy year after year. A nice bonus, by buying it online instead of the store, I saved a nice amount of money...!!
