Eugenia is a strong confident woman who knows what she wants, and what she doesn't want. The matriarch of the Burnett sons, Eugenia has made it her business to find partners for her three sons. Now that the tables have turned and her daughters-in-law are matchmaking Eugenia with Wyatt, Eugenia wants nothing to do with love. Especially when it includes Wyatt. Eugenia's character was so comical. Getting every single available woman to ply Wyatt with more casseroles than he knows what to do with, is enough to drive him crazy. There is only one way to take care of Eugenia and that is to take matters into his own hands. When it comes to Wyatt and Eugenia, I find myself grinning at the repartee. What a sweet and touching love story.
The Christmas Bride is a delightful and dazzling read written by a very talented author. I have never read any of Ms. McDaniel's books. However, after reading the story description, I found myself anxious to snuggle up to my first Sylvia McDaniel romance. The romance between Eugenia and Wyatt, did not disappoint and even had some unexpected turns that turned out to be quite steamy. After reading their touching love story, I can't wait to read the rest of the books in the series. If you are looking for an intriguing story line laced with humor and enchanting characters, look no further than The Christmas Bride by Sylvia McDaniel.

What a great story this was, thoroughly enjoyed reading about Eugenia being the one being courted by Wyatt. She was the one doing the matchmaking and doesn’t want to marry again so she sets up to get Wyatt married so he will forget about her. She underestimates him and he sets her straight telling her she is the only one he wants and is interested in.

What a stubborn lady Eugenia is, but she has her reasons, and I love Wyatt’s ways of trying to get through the walls that Eugenia had set up around her heart. She thinks she is content with the way her life is, but not until it’s too late does she realize what she has been missing. You’ve got to get your hands on this novella and just in time for the holidays!

    An entertaining, quick rea

I had been looking forward to The Christmas Bride since reading the other three books in The Burnett Brides series. It was fun to see if Eugenia's daughters-in-law could help her find the kind of happiness she found for them. It is an entertaining, quick read, great for a relaxing evening.

Eugenia Burnett seems pretty happy.  She played matchmaker to her three sons and now they were happily married.  So now she has three daughters and three grandbabies and one on the way!  She has even played matchmaker for some local lonely ladies and widowers as well.  But what will happen when Wyatt Jones, rancher and widower, informs her that she is the only woman he is interested in.  Will she stick to her stubborn ways or will Wyatt win her over in the end?

I have been looking forward to this book ever since I found out there was going to be one!  I loved this series and I loved Eugenia!  And Wyatt….PHEW….he seems like one smoking rancher!  I adored this book! Sylvia has once again written an AMAZING book!  I highly recommend it to all!
