    A reviewer

I loved this story so much. I will read it every Christmas. It made me feel like I was back in an old fashioned nicer time. Amy and her brother Jack were so real to me. I wanted the story to never end. I bought the book for my daughter and I fell in love with it too. Kat

    New Christmas Classic

When I read the story of Amy Manchester a young girl growing up in Victorian England with her widowed artist father and her older brother Jack I fell in love with all the characters. When Amy wished for the Christmas Doll that she sees in the toy shop window I was spellbound by the events that followed. I loved her new found friendship and the strange mystery in the old Victorian estate, that lead to the exciting new adventure for Amy and Jack. I did not want this story to end. I know I will read it over and over again it was a wonderful story.
