Emma Thompson is an Oscar-winning actress and screen writer. Thompson is known for her sophisticated, skillful performances, and for her arch wit. She ranked #91 in Empire Magazine's "The Top 100 Movie Stars of All Time" list in 1997, and wrote the script for the popular Nancy McPhee movie. She studied literature at Cambridge University, and has a particular fondness for Beatrix Potter.

    This is a lovely book with beautiful illustrations. I love Beatrice Potter's style of illustrations. A wonderful Christmas present for my little boy.

    Wonderful Illustrations

    They say you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover, but when choosing children's books that is what catches my eye! And this one delivers. The pictures capture the feel of Beatrice Potter's style. Cute story and a new addition to our Christmas book collection.
