    The Medlov prequel continues.......

...... What I enjoyed the absolute most about this book was reading about Anya and her romantic trysts!!!! Although it was nice reading about Dmitry and Ivan, Anya stole the show.

    Too Short

Ivan is batsh*t crazy. Arie is broken you weep for her. Dimitry is low-key in this one.

    Really Good Prequel

Really good prequel to a really, really good series. It is really disheartening these days when "series" books end in these cliffhangers, and then the readers are waiting months and years before you can read the next one in the series. Nelson has not exhausted this story yet, but have no idea when she is going to complete the next prequel. A year ago she was anticipating writing up to 12, I think, on this prequel. We are just at 5 and have no idea when 6 is coming, if ever. Can we just end a story, please. If it's that good, the readers will come back. But I am really losing interest in these so-called series. Really, 12 volumes, that could be done in 3? What is standing in the forefront of my mind is that it is more important to fleece the readers than to inspire devotion to an author over the long run.
The Medlov clan is really great entertaiment reading. Will keep you interested in the characters and story.
