About the Author

John Rifkin - First time author Born in 1963 was inspired by his young grandchildren to complete the Shape Town Adventure Series. Growing up in a family of 8, the stories reflect fun childhood memories when the family would go on outings. Living in the Sydney beachside suburb of Maroubra, John gets most of his inspiration whilst sitting near the cliffs overlooking the ocean.Martin Watson - Illustrator, Born in 1972 Sydney. One of seven children encouraged to draw and embrace art from an early age. Martin has been exhibiting his art since a teenager and hopes to convey a sense of sacredness in the everyday experience. Thoughts and memories of the everyday, to worlds imagined. Loaded with symbols both personal and universal. Images both abstract and figurative are explored through drawing, collage and painting. Martin now lives in Denistone with his wife and three children and continue the Watson tradition of seeing the world through the artist's eye.
