Nice Book of Lists That Outdoes Others of Its Type

I started on my library of information on the civil war with many trivia and book of lists books to compare facts. First on my list book was the the researcher who does this on the web and does 'this day in the civil war'. Thousands of facts about destruction and battles, along with the personalities in the war that cost America lives. It truly did change the country into the start of the reconstruction period. Donald Cartmell really takes a task of research and makes this book's work look easy. A fine entertaining and informative fun book. I suggest that one should add this book to having information at your fingertips.

Perfect book for relative or friend that loves history

I purchased this book for that hard to please relative that knows eveything. he loved it and said that it was filled with interstting facts about the civil war but also found that the narative was well written and insightful. I am not really a histroy fan nor did I really know much about the civil war except for the few things I rememebered from high school and that mandatroy American History course in college. I did find it to be an enjoyable read and filled with interesting facts.
