    Excellent beginner Italian cookbook

    I received this book as a gift in 1994 and I have tried to make every recipe in it. I, as well as my guinea pigs, have been very very satisfied with the results. Depending on your location, some of the ingredients can be somewhat difficult to get your hands on but for the most part, everything is incredible. The book focuses on making your own fresh pasta and I have not done that yet. Instead I just buy the dry brand-name pastas and use the great recipes.
