    Judged it by it's cover

I got this because I thought it was a child's story, judging by the cover. Although it was complete fantasy, I enjoyed it. It was cute, funny & a quick read.

    Cute and Light Mystery

The first short story in Lanier's series is fast-paced, sweet, and fun. It's like literary cotton candy. Perfect for the ride to work or while hanging out in the waiting room. -- lyradora

    Short and Sweet

This was a very short story. I would have liked to see more background with the characters. However, if you want a humorous and very lite story with detectives and fairy tale characters, then this book is for you.

Cute story. Last reviewer seems to be sexist but still doesnt think boys like stories about fighting dragons? Im more concerned about allowing an eight year old read this. Author even says not for young readers. My grandchildren will not be allowed to . Any adult with a sense of humor will enjpy this book.

Decent - would be better as a longer story

This short story series has an interesting concept that could definitely work for a full length book. However, the story is so short that character's aren't as interesting or as believable as they could be. The plot could also use some more complexity.

It's a short, humorous story with an interesting setting concept, but don't expect to be blown away.

    Not for me

This book wasnt for me. It really is a book for ages 8 to 12. It is a fairytale. The over all story and writing was good and would be enjoyed by some. I didnt enjoy it or get anything out of it, but that certainly isnt the authors fault.
