Overview

The rakehell friend of Lord Wolford, Demetrius (Deme) Willingham, 4th Marquis of Fielding and a coachman's daughter, Haven Mulhern, were always at each other's throats. Practically raised in the duke of Wimberly's (Deme's father) unconventional household, Haven had kept Deme's hide on his fine arse more than once, when his rakehell ways took him to the seedy and dangerous side of London. Now that his best friend, Wolford, had settled down with Lady Juliette, Deme didn't have any intention of following suit…But something was certainly in the air.
Haven's father, the celebrated whip, Patrick, had been urging her for years to find her own life and leave Deme to his own devices. There were mysteries of his past, and hers, questions about Haven's mother, that had been causing tension between them lately. Haven is giving serious thought to her father's advice while driving Deme once more to the local village to pursue his usual debauchery. After their usual sharp exchange of words and sarcasm, the tension suddenly changes to something other than anger. When it becomes clear that there was always an attraction beneath their seemingly hostile relationship, Deme and Haven will have to decide if they trust enough to let it become something more.

After establishing herself with readers while under contract with seven e-publishers in early 2004-2007, she went on to co-op with several other successful authors before moving into Indie Publishing in 2010. She has had numerous titles on bestseller lists with many novels receiving accolades from various romance review sites. She currently lives in the southeast, surrounded by the Holston River, with her husband of 33 years. When not absorbed by the characters who constantly intrigue her, she enjoys getting together with her two children, son-in-law, daughter-in-law and six grandchildren, and also spends time blogging and networking, always keeping in touch with her core group of fans who have stood with her through the years. An author who believes in storytelling, and in love and passion, she says she always trusts the characters to tell her "their" story, and is as fascinated by how it plays out as the reader.
