I think this is a great book for any Christian who is unsure of how to share their faith with family, friends and just about anyone. Many people believe that faith is personal and not to be shared by anyone but I believe that Jesus gave us the Great Commission in Matthew for a reason. We are to share what God has done in our lives with those around us so that they may also know Christ. It was very encouraging as I am sometimes shy with people I don't know well and helped me to realize that all it takes is me just having a relationship with someone and sharing my own story with them. My favorite quote from the book is: "It takes a bunch of loving, grace-filled Christians to share Jesus with a community. Though the spiritual obstacles may very well be intense, we rely on the power of God to give us strength to endure what comes our way. Jesus didn't promise the disciples that sharing faith would be simple or popular; He said to be prepared for just about anything. They were willing to lay their lives and reputation on the line to be Christ's advocate." I also liked the questions he asked in chapter 5 about the things we like, etc. because those are great ways to start up a conversation with someone and build a relationship. God is all about relationships. That is what He asks of us - to have a personal relationship with Him and then share it with others. It was also an easy read. Really enjoyed it. Can't wait to get my copy of Hear No Evil by Matthew in the mail next week. :-)Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
