In a winter world called Chillford, a family born with cryokinetic abilities, and traditionally practices cryokinetic combat, lives in their castle called Frostfall castle. This family also has a magical family heirloom amulet, which increases their lifespan to 300 years old and allows them entry into Frostfall castle when they are wearing it. Elara is the 116 year old outspoken but kind hearted niece of the creator of Frostfall castle. Elara often gets mistreated because she is not as advanced in cryokinetic combat as everyone else, causing her to leave the castle daily to train in peace and quiet. One day while she was training outside, she meets an 118 year old immortal sorcerer named Cole. Cole is unable to feel love or empathy, causing him to come off as very cold hearted and reserved towards Elara. After the rude encounter between Cole and Elara, Elara suddenly realizes that her family heirloom amulet has been stolen by an unknown sorcerer. As the unknown sorcerer mocks Elara for losing her precious amulet from a distance, that sorcerer's voice sounds familiar to Cole for some reason, almost like those two sorcerers had some sort of conflict in the past, gaining Cole's attention and making him want to search for this sorcerer. Elara finds herself in a situation where she needs Cole's help because he knows more about the dangers of Chillford than she does, and Cole needs Elara's help because she can sense where her amulet is, which will bring him to this suspicious sorcerer who holds Elara's amulet.
