-The book provides a good working overview of the Cold War but unfortunately makes some assumptions on the part of the eager.
-Terms specific to the Cold War are used as if the reader understands the usage. Terms like Red Army, Cold War and Iron Curtain are used freely with no explanation when they are introduced.
-This aside, the book provides a very rapid yet thorough workable knowledge on the subject of the Cold War, its causes, notable moments and the outcome.
