The Collection [2009]

Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide - Andy Kellman
Only 34 songs are spread across the three discs that make up The Collection, released by Legacy in 2009. The set appears more substantial than it is; all but one of the songs would have fit on two discs. It covers Whitney Houston's debut through 1998's My Love Is Your Love, and it contains most of her significant hits -- as well as notable deeper selections -- from that era, including "Saving All My Love for You," "How Will I Know," "The Greatest Love of All," "So Emotional," "Where Do Broken Hearts Go," and "It's Not Right But It's Okay."

Good, but not what I expected.

Lots of the older hits that I recognized and loved, but the newer songs just didn't peak my interest.
