Diana Moore has led a charmed life. She's the daughter of a wealthy senator and living a glamorous city life, and is confident her handsome live-in boyfriend is about to propose. But everything is turned upside down when she learns of a mysterious woman who works nearby - a woman who is her identical mirror image.

Diana is compelled to discover the truth about this woman's identity, but the truth leads her down a path of secrets, betrayals, and shocking discoveries about her past. These discoveries follow her like a shadow.

Then she meets Dr. Jacob Peterson-a brilliant cardiac surgeon with an uncanny ability to heal those who are broken. Another winner in this series!

The Color of Heaven, The Color of Destiny, The Color of Hope and The Color of a Dream (in that order) are books not to be missed! They can probably all be read as stand-alones, but I think you'll find you can't help but move on to the next book after you've read your first. Ms. MacLean's writing style is so compelling. I can visualize in my mind the surroundings. This book, as with the others, has a few characters "speaking" to the reader. I find this style of writing to be very engaging. I couldn't imagine what twists the story would take when I started out with each of these books. The Color of Hope is 484 pages on my Nook Tablet, and I read it in ONE DAY! Honestly had a hard time putting it down, and when I was reading, I was reading so fast, as though devouring each chapter. It is that good! The sisters in this story have a lot to accept and overcome, and at times it seems as though it would be impossible. The story shows how circumstances can shape who we are, but hope can change things for the better. I am a fan of Christian novels, and though I'm not sure these books officially fall into that category, they are inspirational in their own way - and they don't resort to foul language and explicit sex as a means of enticing a certain readership. Absolutely any reader, regardless of your preferences, will love these books. Don't miss! On to The Color of a Dream!

A book that will keep you up reading. The Paragraph at end says

A book that will keep you up reading. The Paragraph at end says so much. "Please do not forget that even when life seems hopeless especially then. Because you never know when it might take a sudden turn for the better...."
In the past year twice I've sat at my husband's bedside as his heart raced. I came so close to losing him. So every moment is precious. This book offers hope.
Diana Moore and Naida are twins separated at birth. Neither knew the other existed until they were thrown into each others path.
Diana had the good life so it seemed. Naida felt like she was always dealt bad luck.
Love makes sacrifices and in the end both realize how strong love is.

    Beautiful!!!

From start to end this book kept my attention, well written and covered topics of identical twins nature/nurture, forgiveness and transplant procedures. Much love in the pages and I believe the book was written as a labor of love...
