    Chocked full of details

I have to admit that I'm addicted to any kind of literature that's related to running. This is by far one of the best training books out there. I like how the author has a seperate chapter for each kind of distance race you're training for and how they show many variations (based on past and current running performance) on each training schedule - they don't present the training schedules as a one type fits all. The author also gives you pointers for racing each type of race (5K, 10K, half marathon, marathon). There's over 600 pages of information - chapters on speed training, nutrition, running environment, mental aspects of competing, treadmill training, etc.

If you like to improve... buy it!

This book really helps you to improve your running times; also, the author knows how to motivate you and to find the way to jump from a novice to an amateur runner. It has all the aspects to run well from 5k to 40k.
