The Complete 1937 Madhattan Room Broadcasts, Vol. 6

Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide - Scott Yanow
The Sunbeam 12-LP series of broadcasts from the Madhattan Room serve as a countdown to BG's famous Carnegie Hall Concert of Jan. 1938. The December 18 aircheck has several numbers "Big John's Special," "If Dreams Come True" and "Bei Mir Bist Du Schon" that would be performed at the concert along with fine small-group versions of "Where or When" and "Dinah," making this one of the strongest entries in this worthy series.
