Library Journal
This work--Volume 1 ( LJ 5/1/90) contains the credits for male actors--updates and enlarges Parish's Actors' Television Credits , which, with three supplements, covers the years 1950-85 (Scarecrow, 1973-86). Arrangement is alphabetical by actress's name. TV credits are listed chronologically; where available, titles of specific episodes are furnished. This is the sole access; no cross-indexing is provided. The term ``Complete'' appears to refer to the credits for the 1,739 actresses included; however, there are omissions. The authors cite TV Guide as the principal source of data but state that other sources, such as network files, were culled. For specialized collections.-- Roy Liebman, California State Univ., Los Angeles
