this cookbook is a complete & comprehensive collection of recipes, each recipe explains why it will work, what makes it work, the recipes are so clear & easy to follow that even the most novice cook will be able to create excellent meals! every recipe I have tried has turned out perfectly. They aren't particularly long & complicated but you can see why each step is important. The raves at the table are worth the time to make such good food. They even have recipes such as chicken nuggets, so much better than the ones from the drive through. I would highly recommend this book, if you've ever seen the tv show, it's like having the cooks right in the kitchen with you. Additionally, they have product & equipment recommendations in the book, which save you money because you are buying the products that really work, not the ones that just look good

At first use I was delighted, the Enchilada Verdes were great. Then I was looking for an a dip to take to the potluck. I finally went to the library and took out the older Ed (2011) and there was a bunch right at the start of the book with its expanded Table of Contents. Makes it easy with no hunting thru index for something you do not have a specific name for, like the Yellow Pages where "Lawyer" sez see attorney. The recipes, so far are tasty, but the organization is wanting. It feels more geared to eBook than hardbound print.
