i dont think when i ordered this book i realized how big it really is. i am really disappointed in the fact that there are no illistrations. part of the magic of oz for me is the illistrations. it is a lot to read. and very black and white to me. lacks some of the magic of oz. Kind of a let down.

This particular copy had a lot of grammatical errors and misspelling. The books themselves are a good read for young children. The plots are not linear, and the story isn't exactly consistent, but the characters are wonderful. Baum's imagination is fantastic.
