This book covers many topics that are associated with werewolves. It deals with myths and how they were started, and include some legends. It includes defenses against werewolves, supposed methods to turn a person into a wolf, characteristics of the werewolf, and short sections on other types of were-creatures. There is also a nice portion of the book which deals with where werewolves have managed to become popular in our culture. Movies, such as Teen Wolf, and characters from books, such as Remus Lupin, are discussed. This is a good book for those who enjoy fantasy, but is also good for history buffs as many of the things discussed were at one time real beliefs.
