    "The Hermit of the Bronx"

Charles Hoy Fort was "the Hermit of the Bronx." He was a real person who collected real information that the scientific community was trying to supress. Everything in the "Book of the Damned" is true. Everyone should read this book once in their life.

A Most Fascinating Man: Charles Fort

I have always been fascinated by the strange and bizaar that cannot be fully explained. Charles Fort spent many long hours in the New York library collecting the odd stories that he felt science needed to look into. He did not necessarily believe what he wrote about but many people did. I highly recommend this book to those who have a deep interest of the bizaar and unexplained. Fort did a fabulas job in putting forth his views on such things.
