I was extremely disappointed with the low quality of the printing and of the translations. There are better versions out there, and they are translated by experts for modern readers.

the disney corp. softend you up and made fairy tales seem joyus and sweet when realy they are gory and exciting and suspencful. If you want to read some thing that you are sure to love prepair to read a one of a kind story. these stories were origianaly told to scare little kids into obeying their perents, like they told cindarella to make kids appreaciate there parents by saying that if you dont respect your parents wile there around, evil step-parents are going to come and make your life horrible. so if you want some great stories read the brothers grimm one of a kind and orriginal way of story telling!!!!
