Meet the Author

Animal Wellness Coach, Animal Intuitive, and Reiki Master Teacher, Rev. Leslie Morán, is the founder of Critter Connection. She has worked holistically with animals since 1980 and is nationally and internationally known author, educator, and healer. Having been awarded an honorary ministerial credential in 1990, she is adept at combining intuitive insights and spiritual guidance with natural-care and alternative healing.

Her regular monthly column, "The Holistic Parrot", and her regular feature articles educate and instruct readers in using a natural approach. Over the years her articles have appeared in these nationally distributed magazines : Animal Wellness, Whole Horse Journal, Whole Cat Journal, Whole Dog Journal, Wolf Clan and Tiger Tribe. Leslie has an A.S. degree in general education. Her background includes education, training, and experience in animal nutrition, anatomy, physics, physiology, biology, botany, psychology and behavior, Reiki, toxin-free environmental living, herbology, massage, visualization, psychic development, prayer, energy balancing, color therapy, flower remedies, homeopathy, and aromatherapy.
Before becoming a published author and consultant for a wide range of animal health and behavior issues, Leslie's professional work history includes eight years as an Electrical Design Engineer for San Diego Gas & Electric. As a woman in this position she rose to the top of her area of expertise. In pursuit of excellence she earned the respect of the construction crews who installed her designs, clients and company consultants.
