Dixon's book has great depth and he really understands what it takes to sucessfully learn to surf. Everyone reading his book will come away with a better understanding about how waves are generated and how to ride them safely. A well written book for beginners and anyone interested in surfing.

It teaches you everything about surfing. When I got it it was fun to read. And when I caught that first wave I knew I would do great. Last month I got an article in a magazine published and in that article I thanked the writers of the book so I say if you want to learn to surf this is the book for you.
