    Still Not Recommended

This book was slightly more useful than the first guide, but still had a lot of faults. If you want to write for a younger audience or incorporate Asian culture into your fantasy, this is probably worth buying, but if you aren't, look elsewhere. I don't mean to sound like a snob, but these writers are mostly known, and their chapters here show why. Tina Morgan was called back from the first book (despite her many mistakes in spelling) to A) Tell you not to leave spelling mistakes in your writing, blithely leaving out that one of the errors she instructs you to correct is actually one she made in the first guide and to B) Tell you a whole bunch of things that were mostly in the first book (while this time only making one spelling error I caught). The section on including horror refers to it as H, as if the author was some back-alley drug dealer(I really didn't read it after that), the writer who did the section on mystery clearly showed she never read Sherlock Holmes, and I seriously question the Arthurian legend writer's claim to be an "Arthurian Scholar" when she suggests "A Knight's Tale" as a movie to anyone interested in writing that kind of book (I liked the movie, but it has nothing to do with anything). OK, the government and herbal sections seemed good, but as doubtful as it is that many of these authors have done any research into the information they provide, I really have to question the veracity of the information I got there.
