    All Fluff, no substance

    I was surprised to see that this book contained no specifc advice. It was a bunch of stories from a model that is popular, but not really a supermodel. And she doesnt really work that much anymore. Bad photos, and dated advice. Skip this one.

    You should read it!

    This book was very realistic, and talked about everything that is important to get started in the fashion industry. All the tips are worth reading, and everything mentioned is completely honest and very helpful. If you are just getting started in modeling, it is definitely one of the best books out there!

    Everything you ever wanted to know and more......

    This is a terrific book and the only one written by a real live supermodel who has lived the life. Roshumba answers all of the important question that prospective models and their friends and loved ones would want to know. The Complete Idiot's Guide to Being A Model by Roshumba Williams is accurate, up-to-date and realistic. This book intorduces two very important topics. One is that you do not have to be tall, thin and 18. Indeed there are real life models, plus size, elegant, male, parts and child models. Two, there are many fascinating careers on the other side of the lens: stylist, agent, publicist, photographer. Roshumba offers sensible tips on health and nutrition, managing money and how to be a responsible and reliable professional. These are all worthwhile tips whether you are a model or not.
