Meet the Author

MARY MITCHELL, the author of The Complete Idiot's to Business Etiquette; Dear Ms. Demeanor; The Young Person’s Etiquette Guide; and The First Five Minutes: How  to Make a Great First Impression in Any Business Situation, is the founder of Uncommon Courtesies, a consulting firm that helps corporations and individuals hone their personal interaction skills.     A MUST READ....even if you graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Wharton School of Business

    I bought this book more as a "Refresher." I go to business meetings/luncheons often and felt I might need to brush-up on a few things. I'd always believed my manners to be impeccable...that is until I began reading. For almost 50 years I've incorrectly placed my fork and knife on my plate at the end of my meal!

    This book has been a "Godsend" and should be required reading for anyone who will ever; eat or drink in public, attend a funeral, attend a wedding, etc. It's basic, but oh so necessary.
