The book itself is very indepth and explains weather and it's causes thoroughly. Yet, it does so in a way that is easy to understand and keeps your interest. The cd on the other hand...not so much. I bought this for my daughter who is homeschooled and weather is something she has taken a liking to, and was hoping the cd would SHOW weather situations in action to compliment the book. It has nothing but still-pictures and is only 12 min long. I could have found better online. If you're looking for a good book about weather and it's causes and effects then this is a really good choice. Ignore the cd.
