    Very Useful

This book was definitely helpful. Specifics regarding what "healthy" couples do. Also good insight regarding how to cope with the hurdles that come along the way

    I was an intimacy idiot!

Fantastic book! Easy to read and understand, and easy to take an idea or two and start putting them into your life right away. Dr. Coleman writes in a concise, easy to read manner and also keeps it interesting to hold your attention. The guide is loaded with good common sense information and presented in such a way as to make the reader feel they can actually use the concepts presented right away in every day life and encounters. In the past, I always associated intimacy with 'sex', not anymore. After reading this book, I am more aware of what it really means to be 'intimate' with not only my spouse, but my children, family and friends. I'm asking my husband and kids to read this book also.
