    good but flabby

The book repeated itself quite a bit. Kept saying how good a massage feels, but I already knew that, everyone know's that!! Seemd like bulk filler because they didn't have enough real information for the book. The techniques were great though!! Tried some on a close friend and she loved them! If you are looking for a book with just exercises and pratices this may not be the best book. But if you want a broad range of ideas, and background to message this is the one for you!

    What a great book!

This was an outstanding book. I already know a lot about massage but I wanted to know more. And this book will tell you everything you want to know and more. It's a great style of simple and humorous writing that's easy to understand (just what I wanted!). I've been considering massage school after high school and reading this actually made me what to do it more. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in massage as a career. Or to someone that just wants to know more about it! :)

Everything that you wanted to know about massage and more.

I have enjoyed Joan and Eve's other books on Yoga and Meditation. I think that their book on Massage is wonderful. I started doing the self message in the beginning of the book. It seems to be a great book for a novice and people that have had massages. The pictures go great with the text explaining massage. It has helped me understand the benefits of massage. I love getting a massage. Now I'm a better consumer in explaining what I want in a massage.

    No Idiots Here

The operative word here is 'COMPLETE'. I sat down to look up one thing and found myself an hour later buying the book. This book is a consumate reference to all forms of massage. The Whys, the Wheres, and most importantly, the Hows. Complete, playful, precise, and thourough.
