I thought this book was going to be more about the process and techniques of natural birth instead of how to choose a midwife type stuff. Wish I could return it. Great Expectations by Marie and Sandy Jones is much better.

Very easy to read, nicely divided and categorized with main text and extra info. Enjoyed reading this and very helpful in making you more confident in attempting natural childbirth, and finding different options/methods.

I loved this book! The author explains everything very clearly, and I really liked the "boxes" with all the tips...great ideas! I was also impressed with the comprehensive coverage of the different childbirth education methods...very informative and unbiased. As a mother, grandmother, and childbirth educator myself, I would encourage any expectant mother who wants to feel confident in her ability to give birth naturally to read this book!

This book was very helpful to my identical twin sister who gave birth last year. It provided lots of information and made her feel confident. She went into the hospital at 7:30 Am and gave birth at 8:30 Am. She felt much better after reading this book. I highly recommend this book to all expectant women.
