I've been a Realtor for 23 years and this is the first real estate book I've read where the author actually knows what real estate is really like. I've owned a real estate company for 14 years and this book I am recommending to all my new and veteran agents as well as to the buyers and sellers that are my clients. The book is jam packed with great insights, creative tricks and practical advice. The negotiating chapter is the best I've ever read and the Internet information is accurate, updated and explained so thoroughly I felt like an expert on web sites when I finished the book. Rarely does an author take a stand and say what sites are good, which are bad and list the pros and cons. This book does exactly that and much more. I wish this book would have been around 20 years ago because it is excellent.

I found this to be an excellent how-to book and I normally don't like how-to guides. The information on web sites was terrific, the advice and information given was strong and accurate, the examples used were helpful and solutions to real problems were offered. The author knows what he's talking about. everything was presented in a clear, easy to follow format. This book is perfect for those of us who aren't real estate or Internet experts but need to learn quickly. I got so much out of this book--it's superb.
