This is the best collection of George Eliot's I have ever seen on either the Nook or the Kindle stores (I have both devices!). This comes with an interactive table of contents and full color illustrations which works very well on my Nook color. Navigation is very intuitive and there are direct links to every novel and chapter that Eliot ever wrote. I give this 5 stars and wish I could give it even more.

George Eliot is my favorite writer, and Middlemarch is my favorite book. Some of her other novels are hard to find, and I am glad I could get them in one single volume.

At the age of 51, with all my children out of the house, I'm happily reading more. I began "The Complete Novels of George Eliot" by familiarizing myself with her biography (also contained in the Complete Novels). This was helpful in understanding how insightful she was in developing the characters and storylines. I read "Adam Bede" on my Nook. The "look it up" feature for word definitions added richness to the experience.
On a side note regarding "Adam Bede". The motivations of individuals, the ripple effect of their actions, the inner conflicts and impulsiveness of the human spirit are timeless.
