This Import release from the UK, features the mega hits of Blondie and the European hits of their lead vocalist, Deborah Harry. Deborah Harry's solo work is as good as anything she has ever done with Blondie, in fact, if they had the Blondie name on them, they too would have been Million selling #1 singles all over map. Deborah's "Brite Side, I want That Man and French Kissin" are perfect pop songs. Brite side was actually featured in the TV Show "Wise Guy". There's really not much to mention about the Blondie songs, we all know the band has produced some of the biggest hits in music history, not to mention some of the best music ever made. Best selections are the 4 American #1 Songs "Heart of Glass, Call Me, The Tide is High and Rapture". Also included is "Atomic" a song that hit UK #1, but was re-released in the US in the lates 90's and hit #1 on the US Billboard charts. There is a Dance Remixe of Deborah's "In love with love a #1 Billboard Dance Chart hit of 1987, considered to be one of the biggest dance hits of all time, on Deborah Harry's Solo Hits album. The version on this hits package is the slower album version, beautiful and hauntingly sexy. In 2002 Blondie released their Greatest Hits album, a few months shy of a new studio album. If you want a more in depth look at Blondie and the force behind them, then this is the album to buy, as it features POP ICON Deborah Harry.

All Music Guide - JT Griffith
This import CD is one of the best Blondie and Debbie Harry compilations for original music, unless one is looking for remixes and rarities. The 20-track disc covers the years 1977-1990, and includes "Heart of Glass," "Call Me," "French Kissin' in the U.S.A.," "Rapture," "Atomic," "The Tide Is High," and others. Very solid song selection and track order. First released in 1993, the current version has superior sound quality. Casual fans will most likely choose Best of Blondie [Chrysalis], as it only has the best of Blondie. But some of Debbie Harry's songs will please the casual fan, so Complete Picture may be a better alternative than the more expensive Platinum Collection ...
