This book covers wheel thrown (about 1/3 of book), coiled, slab and molded pottery as well as glazing, decorating & firing. It covers all of these aspects of pottery but doesn't go into great detail on any. It is well written with great photos of techniques and finished pieces. It's a good reference book. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

This is by far the most use book I have read. I wish I had this as a beginner. It is not only good for the beginner though. I have been doing ceramics for 4 years and reached a point where I could not get any better. Within a few days of reading this detailed book I was able to improve vastly. This is a book that I would reccommend to all. A+++++Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
