    Well Written and Easy to Follow

    I bought this book because my doctor recommended it for health reasons and not weight. The book is organized well, the analogies are interesting and the menu is easy to follow. I'm not a physician, but this book claims that the "diet" will help those with heart problems and with a little tweaking those with kidney problems.

    My only complaint is that the menu is inundated with fish--not a particular favorite of mine.

    Best diet book ever!

    This is the best diet book. Everything is laid out in easy to understand terms. I like the structure of this diet. Easy to lose the weight on this diet.

    Do the Do if you want.

    I am a slacker. I was 220lbs at 5' 11' and 26 years old. I got to 195 in less then 2 months. It has been more then 9 months since I was on this diet and since then I have been holding 200lbs. And that is without working out or dieting. In fact today I had fast food for lunch and dinner. To the point I was full and I have not gained any weight. I laugh at the Big, over priced diet books out there. This book is short and to the point, and I have made money off of friend by betting them that in one month if they dont lose more then 15 lbs I would pay them $10. hehehhe They start ignoreing my phone calls just after the second week on the diet. hehehe I still have friends that o me money. hehehehe Jokeing. But just after 2 hard weeks they told me they loved it. You dont have to take my word for it. Try it and if you have the 'will' to lose that fat. Scarsdale has the way to a better and healthy life. I only read half the book and if my friend gives me back my book I will start it again and this time live by it. By the way... I lost all this weight also by cheating alot. I used maby 60% willpower while on the diet and still lost the weight.

    The Best Diet Ever!

    You will lose weight and you will feel good. This is the best diet ever. Dr. Tarnower has laid out the dos and don'ts and this is a no thought needed diet. He has wonderful recipes and has gourmet, vegetarian and many more variations on the original diet - all great! It does not get any easier and you will not feel hungry on this diet.

    The BEST diet

    This is the best diet ever. My sister did this diet when it first came out. A few months ago she told me about it. I lost 15 lbs. in 2 weeks. I'm still losing even with forgetting I'm on I diet. I recommend this diet to anyone who wants to lose weight and keep it off.

    Absolutely Works!!!

    I tried this diet back in the 80's and to this date(2002) I have found nothing esle that works quite like this one. There are hundreds of diets out there but this one works! Try it and see!!!!!!

    TRY IT, YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!

    I first tried this died when I was about 20 years old, and it worked great. At 35, I find it harder to loose the weight. I just wanted to loose about 15 pounds by September (for a vacation) and I'm on my way! I already lost 6 pounds in a little over two weeks! (even with a cookie here and there)

    Really works!

    I wanted to lose a little wait for my wedding day and was dreading the prospect. However, I can't recommend this book highly enough. I lost 1 and a half stone on this diet and it really wasn't too difficult. The great thing is you don't go hungry and it's easy to follow. Just give it a try!

    This Diet worked for me

    When I was in the U.S.NAVY I gained alot of weight and had to loose it or get out. My wife and bought the book and We followed the diet. We never starved, Had a good time following the diet and a good exercise program I lost 40 lbs in 6 months.I Went on to retire from the navy.

    The Only Diet that actually works!

    This book includes the very best advice and day-by-day schedule of dietary meals. I lost 7 pounds in 1 week! It's the best thing i've ever tried, and it works!
