Overview

WARNING: This book may inform you, humor you, or enrage you.

The Conservative's Handbook provides a conservative viewpoint on a wide range of issues: guns, global warming, drugs, partial birth abortion, education, political correctness, entrepreneurs, and the wisdom of Ronald Reagan.

If, as some have said, conservatives are ruled by facts and liberals by emotions, one would be hard-pressed to find a better illustration of the aphorism than popular radio talk-show host Phil Valentine's The Conservative's Handbook: Defining the Right Position on Issues from A to Z.

The Conservative's Handbook provides a conservative viewpoint on a wide range of issues and ideas:

  • Guns
  • Global warming
  • Drugs
  • Partial birth abortion
  • Education
  • Political correctness
  • Entrepreneurs
  • And the wisdom of Ronald Reagan.

The knowledge Valentine imparts is more than just information - it's ammunition for conservatives when they are caught up in discussions with friends and arguments with those on the Left.

Many arguments between liberals and conservatives degenerate into name-calling and unsubstantiated claims. The Conservative's Handbook distills those raw emotions and extraneous thoughts into a cohesive argument for conservative principles and values, covering the full array of today's fiscal and social issues in a manner that is comprehensive without being overwhelming.

    A very engaging book!

As I read "The Conservative's Handbook", I found myself saying "Yes!" and "Absolutely!" over and over again. Phil Valentine nailed the definition of conservatism in his book! I purchased two more copies as Christmas gifts for our sons. Just recently, I loaned my copy to my mother who, sadly enough, voted for the liberal agenda last fall after years of being conservative. She commented that she can't put the book down and wants to buy copies for my brothers! Phil Valentine's research revealed things I never knew about our political & social history. I highly recommend this book!

When Goldwater talked about it, we called it conservatism. When Reagan talked about it, we called it conservatism. Now Valentine is talking about it...call it what it is. Conservatism.
When Marx talked about it, we called it Marxism. When Lenin talked about it, we called it Leninism. Obama is talking about it....call it what it is...Obamunism!

    Amazing book!

This book has all the reasons to be a conservative, and unlike most other political books, it backs everything up with hardcore facts. Everything is cited and documented, and is argued in a way that makes it irrefutable. Excellent work by Mr. Valentine!

    Clear and concise

This is a great little book! Its format is precisely that of a Handbook, but the information it contains is enormous.
It clearly and concisely displays the conservative's world view in front of your eyes, in a logic manner. Its A to Z summarizes the main topics of debate among liberals and conservatives and being the "chapters" short, its reading is really agile.
I don't have much free time during the day, so I appreciate the fact that the writer do not fill pages and pages with talk, but summarizes, puts in order and stimulates the reader to think further.
This is a MUST for every people, either conservative or just curious.

Conservative Points All In One Book

This book has a great deal of detail, along with examples. If you are a Conservative, this book will help you confirm what you believe in. If you are a Liberal, this book will let you know what the other side believes in. If you are a Moderate, this book will help you determine what side of the fence you lean on. I would strongly advise Conservatives and Moderates read this book. This book is based on Conservatism, NOT the Republican Party. It just so happens that most Conservative values are intertwined with the Republican Party. Liberals may be inclined to read this book as well, to understand what opposing viewpoints are out there. I think if you are a 18-30 year old, either figuring out where you stand in politics, or need a little research to broaden your knowledge, this book is the prime guide to help.

The Conservative's Handbook by Phil Valentine

This book is a great book for all conservatives. All real conservative stances are backed up with facts and include topics such as guns, abortion, "seperation of church and state", and the junk science behind global warming and so many more. I have had this book for a few days now and I am hooked on reading it. Buy It, you'll be glad you did.
