Author's Choice ReviewsLike the original book, this one tells the personal stories of those from countries around the world who've found Christ and who have suffered persecution because of it. The stories of persecution and suffering, often from their own families, friends and usually by the government, are heart breaking. Knowing conversion might mean separation from loved ones, prison or even death, these men and women not only live their faith, they live it with joy and with a commitment to share. They stand up for a faith amidst horrendous circumstances. The courage and hope of these Christians puts American Christians to shame. We're afraid of wearing a cross necklace or praying in public and quickly back away if told to stop. It is time we take a page from our courageous brothers and sisters and begin to live the faith for which they suffer. Recommended reading.
