    A Good First Effort

The idea is better than the execution. Having a greater variety of authors would be an improvement; it seems as if the entire thing were written by just a few people. The various sections were interesting as topics: Around the Cauldron, Tea and Cakes, Morning Dew, Witchly Musings and The Campfire. The personal stories are quite touching, but the philosophical musings lack substance and come across as heavy-handed. I haven't tried out any of the recipes yet, but they look intriguing. I especially look forward to trying out Crock Pot Apple Butter. I hope to see this little publication grow to something even greater.
