Reading a Lori Wilde is like comfort food. You always know your going to get something that fills you up and makes you feel good while eating it. The Cowboy Takes A Bride is just like that. I loved how each Joe and Mariah fought their relationship at different times leaving us wondering what the heck they were doing. I also liked how they both found themselves thanks to the other. This is a great start to a new series.

Those of you who do not like the long reviews can click on report and then choose plot spoiler thats what ive been doing and they do take them off after enough ppl report it and i agree its aggrivating when you read the review and someone pretty much tells everything and ruins the book for us

this was my first book for lori wilde. i enjoyed the story line but i thought it dragged in some places. however where it dragged i found myself wanting to get to the next part. so all in all i think i will read another of hers to see how it goes.

big city girl, mariah, is willed her estranged father's ranch after his death. it's a broken down 'ranch'. her neighbor is a widower that hasn't stopped grieving for his deceased wife, or her father that he was close to. their attraction is instant, but they are slow to really connect. this is a love story that will make you go awwww at various times in the story. of course, it has a happy ending. if you love love stories, this is one for you.

I thought it was a great romance book if your looking for a great romance this is it. It has parts were they have sex so it is intended for mature people. But get this book. Have you bought it yet wat are you waiting for its FREE !!!!!!!!!! :)

I love stories about cowboys and Texas. This is a great story about cowboys and heroes. This cat and mouse love story is heart warming and entertaining. A nice escape from everydays troubles and news stories.
