Meet the Author

Kay Stockham always wanted to be a writer, ever since the age of seven or eight when she copied the pictures out of a Charlie Brown book and rewrote the story because she didn't like the plot. Through the years her stories have changed but one characteristic stayed true--they were all romances. Each and every one of her manuscripts included a love story.

Published in 2005 with Harlequin Superromance, Kay's first release was a Waldenbooks Bestseller. Kay has also been a HOLT Medallion, Book Buyers Best and RITA Award nominee who has written fourteen books with Harlequin Superromance, and a novella with Berkley Publishing. Look for her current titles with Kindred Spirits Publishing.

    A fanciful Christmas tale

The Crash Before Christmas is a fanciful story by Kay Stockham.

Ty McGarretty is trying to hurry home to relieve is grandfather of watching his late sisters children. Ty’s sister left her children in his care after her untimely death and he will do anything to keep them safe and happy. He might not get that chance since the plane he is piloting is going down rabidly over Alaska. Ty hears a voice over the radio saying she is on her way to help him.

Holly Klaas is enjoying a rare respite from her duties in her village. She hears the call from a frantic pilot searching for aide. Holly defies orders and takes her dog sled team to try to save the man in danger.

Holly has her work cut out for her, she is bound and determined to help Ty get well to return to his family and to keep her attraction to him at bay.

Ty knows the stories Holly is telling him are not adding up about her village and her life. But he is finding it hard to ignore the chemistry that sparks between them.

Can Holly protect her people and her heart if she tells Ty the truth? And will Ty be able to believe the truth when he finally hears it?

This is a delightful story perfect for anytime not just at Christmas. I found myself trying to figure it out along with Ty. It was a special story that everyone will enjoy. Ty and Holly’s connection just sparks when ever they are together. This book is definitely a keeper that I will read again and again.
