All Music Guide - Greg Prato
The eight-CD Queen box set The Crown Jewels boasts remastered versions of the band's first eight studio albums (from 1973-1980) and a booklet that contains an essay by MTV VJ Matt Pinfield and images from the original record inserts. Each of the CD jewel cases have been made to look like replicas of the original records (with cardboard embossed covers), and the set itself comes in a blue velvet carrying case. There's no debating that the music included in The Crown Jewels is some of the finest rock music ever recorded (90 songs are included in all, such as "We Will Rock You," "Bohemian Rhapsody," "Another One Bites the Dust," etc.).

    Worth the money

I purchased this set over 5 years ago for over $100. This price with everything that is included is well worth it.

Their music and preformances are timeless and unforgetable.

Queen was one of the greatest rock bands ever to have preformed in the country, I can't speak for other countries, but their songs are so great. They are the cassanova of Rock.

    A Welcome Change

Fans of Queen from the beginning have waited a long time to have their music released as we first heard it without any add-ons that have to be programmed out when listening to cds versus the original form they entended. There is a reason it says ruined by...(on one of the remixes, they were). We've also been waiting to see the original covers and pictures just as we remember them. They are happy memories.Put the new things in a new place(and they did,on individual cds,so you can buy only what you want). This set is obviously for the original Queen fans. And we thank them for it just the way it is!A new fan can now hear and see it the way we first did, with no distractions.
