    It's like The Outsiders meets Big Man Japan - totally killer!

    It's like The Outsiders, with a cool gang of ruffian teens, but it's the FUTURE, and there's GIANT MONSTERS, and rich kids' cars turn into killer ROBOTS!! WOW!! The Crud Masters is a totally awesome book. I found myself loving all the vivid characters, and all the cool things in it like the body modifications, cyborgs, and just how perfectly-described all the monsters were. It's a pretty good idea to set a story in a rich beach community like The Hamptons and throw giant monsters into it. Giant monsters that come out of the sea and start killing everybody, of course. And the great story at the heart of it includes The Crud Masters - the cool gang of underprivileged misfit kids vs. the mean and horrible rich teens on the island who have so much money their parents can afford to buy them cars that turn into Transformers. And like all these gang stories - you can look forward to a big rumble. This book was a genius idea! And I love how the author and I seem to share the same sick sense of humor. Justin Grimbol is simply hilarious!! This book totally rules!!
