Overview

In the war against vampires, mankind has only one hope: The Dark-Hunters. Ancient warriors who died of brutal betrayal, the Dark-Hunters have sworn themselves into the service of the goddess Artemis to protect us.

It's a pact with pretty good perks. Immortality, power, psychic abilities, wealth and a cool wardrobe. But it comes with a few drawbacks: fatal sun poisoning and a new, irreparable dental problem. But aside from the fangs and nocturnal lifestyle, it's not so bad.

Kyrian is an immortal Dark-Hunter who just lost his Dark-Hunter powers and along with it, his immortality. Now he is faced with the chance to regain not only his humanity, but his very soul. The problem is, it couldn't have happened at a worse time. Desiderius is closing in and if Kyrian and Amanda are going to save humanity then Kyrian must take the war to his enemy or it may be too late.

I am a HUGE Dark Hunter fan and was so excited when I heard about these new series that came out! It's so great to finally give all the characters a face. I never though of Ash looking like that. I think I read this in like an hour or two. I wish I could take my time, but I just can't seem to put her books down. I can't wait for Talon's story to come out!

I was waiting for this so long! And I think that when you think about this book less, the waiting was less. Well, I finally got my own copy and finished it in 30 minutes! I tried to slow down to slowly savor it, but can't do! I love it! The original series is amazing, and to see them in graphics and manga like this, it's even better!!! Some of the parts were cut off, such as the sexual parts, but that doesn't stop the manga from being amazing. When Acheron made his appearance, I like pratically SCREAMED! Big fan here, and you know you can't blame me. :] He is my fave and probably my only fave. You can't miss this one. It just gets better!

This was okay, good but okay. Then it got weird in some moments. Still, the art is good, okay but good. I do like the covers for these. Reminds me of Tokyo Pop for some reason.

I recently was introduced to this author and the genre. I am absolutely loving it. I can't put the books down. They are fast reads and the characters are compelling. When i'm not reading the books, i find myself thinking about the characters and picking men and women i see around town who could play the roles of the these characters. I'm more than halfway thru the series and can't wait to finish it, but will be sad to do so. My favorite and the book i found most touching/shocking is Dance with the Devil--featuring Zarek. Awsome emotion and the detailed events that bring on those emotions was very vivid.
