    'The Dark Knight'

'The Dark Knight', both the movie and book, were fantastic. I loved them both. It was a very fast read for me, only took a few days. My overall favorite character was, of course, the Joker. By the way, Heath Ledger was great as the Joker. The Joker just made it....funny and entertaining. I just wish there was more parts with him.

    I love this book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This book is exteamlly entertaining. The charecter bagrounds are awsome and you finally get some closer on Scarcrow. You read about the events that took place between Batman Begins and The Dark Knight.Unlike the oh so terrible Batman Gotham Knight. If you loved the movie you will really love this book.It is not as good as watching the movie but still pretty darn close.I highly recamend it to all readers especially Batman fans.Or fans of this movie.

    enjoyable read

I liked the book - it offered some extra details you don't get with the movie - helped make Rachel's character and feelings seem more reasonable, because I didn't like her character in the movies. (or at least the way she treated Bruce).
I was a little disappointed that it didn't offer more, especially at the end. the novelizaton of Batman Begins seemed to have gone more in depth than this one did. still very good, tho.

    Disappointing...

Not very good...and coming from me...a HUGE reader and dark knight fan with load of posters all over her walls, it says a lot. I love how it goes into more detail about Batman and Harvey Dent's past....but there is no emotion or excitement. The Joker is such an exciting, interesting character...but the book does not show this at all. THERE IS A TYPO. I'm not even joking...look on page 159..("so get OUR your cheque..."). Obviously the editor didn't care very much for the book. Not worth buying, but worth a read.

    A slight dissapointment

I purchased this book, having seen the movie six times, and was slightly dissapointed by the quality. I had expected more insight into the characters and the plot-line, but instead found an obviously rushed and poorly executed novelization. While still entertaining, I would most likely recommend seeing the movie instead. I commened O'Neil though, because writing for such complex characters as Batman and The Joker is not a simple task, and all in all, the novel was an enjoyable read.
